Michael Pennington, MSPT has been a therapist in the Southern Oregon area for over 10 years.  Most recently Michael was affiliated with Outlook Physical Therapy working closely with Brad Parmenter and Northwest Spine and Pain Center.  Prior to moving to Talent Michael ran a busy clinic in Grants Pass (Precise Touch Physical Therapy), during this time he was nominated as the number one physical therapist in the Rogue Valley.  Mike has been in the P.T. arena for the last 10 years, receiving his degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, with advanced training in manual therapy techniques.  He was born in Redlands, CA and raised in the Rogue Valley.  Mike graduated from Hidden Valley High School in 1987.

Mike’s approach is unique and refreshing in the way physical therapy is performed.  The first concept and practice is one on one patient care with one physical therapist directing the care for each individual patient.  Second concept and practice at

Turning Point is the array of treatment approaches.  The treatments vary widely (just like the patients) from manual therapy approaches to modalities such as infra-red and biofeedback.  Every patient responds differently to treatment.  Mike is committed to finding the source of the patient’s pain (myofacial, joint hypo mobility, muscle imbalance, ect.).  Furthermore and most importantly the proper techniques and patient education needed for the best possible results.  The last concept is continued education which is very important to Mike (more importantly to the patient).  This is a never ending challenge as the knowledge base for the field of physical therapy continues to grow and even change.
